Jo joined Cedar with 21 years’ of experience recruiting for public sector organisations.
Starting her career with a focus on recruiting finance professionals into the NHS/Healthcare organisations, Jo has continued her dedication to the public sector. Most recently Jo has led teams that recruit across diverse disciplines including Finance and Change & Transformation into Local Government, Central Government, Housing, Charities, Healthcare, Regulatory Bodies and Blue Light organisations.
This extensive experience has provided Jo with a deep understanding of all public sector recruitment methods, including working directly with clients to create bespoke recruitment strategies, and an extensive use of government frameworks and RPO partnerships. Consequently, Jo understands the challenges faced by organisations to attract top talent and the importance of long-term relationships with clients and candidates.
Outside of work Jo enjoys socialising (with wine!) and keeping up an active lifestyle by going to the gym, paddle boarding, cycling & walking in the countryside!
Jo spends her free time watching all sports and has a season ticket for Gloucester Rugby, football-wise Jo supports Newcastle United.
