Supplier Manager – IT Permanent NEW

Cedar are supporting a Private Sector client based in Bolton who are looking to hire an IT Supplier Manager. This is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary range of £45,000 up to £55,000 per annum plus a great range of benefits such as a 4-day working week (after passing probation). This role will operate on a hybrid working basis with the expectation to be on-site 1-2 days per week.

The successful candidate will work within the IT function, consisting of c40 individuals in total, and will be responsible for managing relationships with external suppliers and vendors to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services that align with the organisation’s strategic goals. You will be responsible for negotiating contracts and monitoring/evaluating supplier performance ensuring any issues are flagged and resolved in a timely manner. You will manage the full end-to-end procurement process for all IT products and services and continually ensure value for money and compliance is achieved.

Candidates applying MUST HAVE:

• Experience working in a similar role covering Procurement, Category, Contract, Commercial, Vendor or Supplier Management is required
• Experience procuring and/or managing suppliers relating to IT Goods and/or Services is required – having a familiarity with IT Suppliers, Products and Services is key for this role
• Strong Stakeholder and Supplier Relationship Management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
