Cedar is currently partnered with a prominent consumer organisation to secure an Interim Head of Group Reporting based in the heart of London. This is an initial 6-month contract, offering a day rate of £800-1,000.

The Role

As Interim Head of Group Reporting, you will take ownership of the Group’s financial reporting and consolidation processes, ensuring high-quality outputs and compliance with IFRS. Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing and mentoring a team of several qualified accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Overseeing the preparation of consolidated accounts, interim and preliminary results, and statutory reports, meeting all regulatory standards.
• Providing expert guidance on complex accounting matters, including IFRS 16, impairment assessments, and foreign currency transactions.
• Enhancing financial reporting processes, driving efficiencies, and ensuring alignment with best practices.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, delivering critical insights to inform strategic decisions.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will be a skilled finance professional with:

• A proven track record in group reporting for listed companies, with expertise in multi-currency consolidations.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including managing and developing high-performing teams.
• Deep technical proficiency in IFRS and statutory reporting, coupled with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of finance systems, with experience in Oracle FCCS or HFM as a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of influencing and building relationships at all levels of the organisation.

Compensation & Benefits
