Interim Financial Controller Interim NEW

Cedar are partnered with a leading PE-backed Infrastructure business to support the recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller for an initial period of 6 months. The role will be offering a rate of £700 – £1,000 per day Outside IR35.

The Role:

As Interim Financial Controller, you will:

• Manage financial reporting, controls, and compliance for APAC and EMEA entities, ensuring alignment with global standards and local regulations.
• Lead budgeting cycles, forecasting, and financial modelling, presenting to Group and external investors to achieve strategic alignment.
• Oversee monthly financial reporting, cash flow, and treasury management to optimize resources and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
• Serve as finance lead for the annual audit, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and full regulatory compliance.
• Enhance business processes, financial structures, and operational efficiencies to support potential exit strategies and future growth.

Your Profile:

You will ideally be:

• A Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) from a Big 4 / Top 10 practice background. with a robust technical skill set in IFRS, group reporting, and controls.
• Able to demonstrate strong expertise in IFRS standards and group reporting within a complex control environment.
• Experienced in international, complex organisations, ideally in large-cap PE or listed PLC reporting contexts.
• Exceptional communicator, adept at navigating fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Though not essential, experience within Real Estate, Infrastructure or Technology businesses is highly advantageous.

Compensation & Remuneration:

As well as day rate of £700 – 1,000 (Outside IR35), this contract role as Interim Financial Controller offers the chance to join a growing and dynamic PE-backed Infrastructure business, working with some of the best industry minds in the business.

Their highly impressive Central London office is walking distance from multiple tube and rail stops. This role is offered on a hybrid basis, with around 3 days per week based in the office.
