Global Mobility Assistant Manager – Reading
A leading firm is offering an exciting opportunity to join their respected Expat tax team in Reading. The role suits a tax professional with expatriate tax experience and a strong understanding of global mobility. The successful candidate will manage compliance tasks and lead advisory projects for corporate and individual clients. Support and guidance will be provided, offering great career growth potential.
Responsibilities:
- Advise corporations on tax and social security implications of assignment moves.
- Conduct tax briefings for individuals moving to/from the UK.
- Manage income tax returns and address issues requiring additional advice.
- Handle client queries on termination payments, investments, and more.
- Liaise with payroll on expatriate matters.
- Conduct technical research, handle HMRC enquiries, and manage disclosures.
Requirements:
- At least two years of expatriate tax experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of UK income and capital taxation.
- Ability to manage a client portfolio.
