Cedar are supporting a Public Sector client who are looking to hire a Procurement Manager. This role is a permanent job opportunity offering a salary between £30,000 up to £40,000 plus a range of benefits. This role will operate on primarily a remote basis with the expectation to be on-site 1 day per month plus potential key meetings where required.
The successful candidate will lead on a range of high value end to end procurement projects (typically c2-4 projects) for key clients the organisation engages with. You will be required to mange high quality, customer focused, procurement projects and ensure positive, collaborative and supportive relationships with internal and external stakeholders are developed. Along with this you will be required to develop and identify any additional existing and future opportunities which can be supported. Additionally, depending on the customer engaged, you may be required to help train and advise on best practice approaches and ensuring compliance in line with Public Sector Procurement regulations.
