Systems Accountant Permanent

Cedar are recruiting a Dynamics 365 Systems Accountant position for a global technology business based in Central London. This is a permanent position reporting into the Head of Finance. This is a fantastic role for a dynamic individual who wants to join a fast-paced business with serious growth plans. This is a key hire for the business as they are currently going through a D365 implementation. This position will be to aid the implementation, provide systems support to the HoF and ensure best practice in power BI.

The duties and responsibilities of the role are: –

• Manage the D365 Finance system structures, work streams, users and the BI reporting model.
• Being a key partner to the IT/technology team on upgrades, roll-outs and testing.
• Ensuring system compliance where necessary
• Collaboratively work with finance and IT to build reports to improve system processes and system controls.
• Develop and maintain effective BI for financial reporting, planning and analysis.
• Owning master data compliance controls.
• Stay updated on the Groups accounting policies, ensuring compliance across consolidation processes and reconciliations.
• Ad hoc duties such as investigating issues and solve bugs where needed and provide appropiate reports.
• Provide training and support, particularly to non-finance teams, on Dynamics 365.

The ideal candidate will have/be: –

• Extensive experience/knowledge of Dynamics 365
• Strong knowledge and experience of working with Power BI.
• Ideally a professional finance qualification such as ACCA, ACA or equivalent
• A solid understanding of best practice for finance systems structure.
• An understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
• Ambitious and driven as it is fast paced.
