London (Hybrid) – £100,000 – £120,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Are you looking for a role where you can help shape and build the corporate tax team? As well as creating a succession plan to take over from one of the corporate tax partners in the next couple of years.

This role involves mentoring and developing junior staff to ensure a seamless transition as well as hiring several junior members including assistant managers and managers.

You will be overseeing the compliance function for a designated set of complex corporate tax clients including OMBs, SMEs and large corporates ensuring consistent delivery across the department and firm.

You will also be delivering ad-hoc tax advisory projects for the audit and business tax client portfolio, alongside work won through personal business development activity.

Contributing to the management of the corporate and business tax department providing input at regular management meetings and assisting in the strategic direction of the department.

Assisting with the training of tax staff, either on the job or through regular technical updates. Appraising junior staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel.

Identifying new opportunities within the client portfolio and working with the wider team to deliver additional services. This includes building and maintaining strong client relationships and actively seeking new business.

This role has genuine progression to partner over the next few years while being able to build out a corporate tax team and inheriting a very diverse corporate tax portfolio.
