About the Role:

Our Local Authority client are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to them on an interim basis for the begiinning of a greenfield piece of work. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering innovative solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and identify areas for optimization.
• Develop functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
• Work closely with IT and development teams to implement technology solutions.
• Support project management by tracking progress, risks, and dependencies.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define business needs.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Local Authorities highly desirable
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with business process modeling, requirement gathering, and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio).
• Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
• PRINCE2 qualified
