Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Alasdair was a Senior Civil Servant in the UK Energy department. He personally advised the Secretary of State for Energy and senior officials regarding energy and business policy. Leading the Net Zero practice at Grant Thornton, Alasdair helps businesses implement innovative financial strategies to achieve carbon reduction goals.

Arti Bareja – Net Zero Associate Director, Grant Thornton

Prior to joining Grant Thornton in April 2023 Arti spent over two years as a corporate finance adviser at the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). She led on the policy development for the UK Government on new nuclear and delivered on an arm’s length body to execute this strategy.
