Background

Willis Towers Watson (WTW), a global provider of risk advisory and insurance solutions, needed to design and build a project team for a critical technology rollout across.

The Challenge

Cedar partnered with Willis Towers Watson (WTW) to build a specialised project team to support a time-critical rollout of a key technology platform across different regions:

  • To build support WTW on a technology platform rollout across their Nordic and European regions.
  • Several positions were required, including a Senior Project Manager, Business Analysts, Data Analysts and a Training Manager.
  • All contractors were required to speak Danish or Portuguese, be immediately available and have extensive Insurance experience.
  • Due to the specificity, they had exhausted all other options when trying to hire ahead of the project start date.

The Solution

To address WTW’s unique hiring requirements, Cedar implemented a rapid deployment strategy, achieving results through:

  • Conducted a campaign to identify candidates with the required language skills and expertise, sourcing talent locally in Nordic and European regions and remotely in the UK.
  • Carried out an accelerated recruitment process, streamlining workflows to ensure shortlisted candidates for all roles were at the interview stage within one week, maintaining quality without compromising project timelines.
  • Used diverse sourcing strategies, leveraging Cedar’s database, network referrals, targeted headhunting, and industry-specific job boards to engage top-tier talent effectively and inclusively.

  • Successfully placed six multilingual IT professionals across the programme filling all positions within 45 days.
  • Vetting and first-stage interviews were carried out within one week.
